New family-owned restaurant celebrates Toishan culinary traditions with claypot rice, freshly made steamed rice rolls, and Chinese pastries

WHAT

The Oakland Chinatown Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome King Kitchen, a new family-owned and operated restaurant bringing the culinary traditions of Toishan cooking and Chinese pastries to Oakland Chinatown.

King Kitchen’s opening adds to the rich cultural and commercial landscape of Oakland Chinatown and continues the neighborhood’s longstanding legacy as a thriving business community built by generations of families, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.
