Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new Lincoln Square Recreation Center

Starting in the summer of 2026, the new Lincoln Square Park Recreation Center will start construction. After close to 30 years of planning and community engagement, the City of Oakland will soon replace the existing recreation center with a new two-story, 22,221 square-foot recreation and community resilience center. The new center will be bigger and better suited to serve neighborhood and City residents. The celebration to kick off this event is scheduled for July 30, 2026. Below is the flyer.
